Playa Gem-a private, spacious penthouse in heart of downtown!

It was such a great place! Family of four (two teens) and it was the perfect layout, size, and location. The kitchen was fully stocked with pans, utensils, containers, grilling tools, meat thermometer, you name it. You can really cook here, we grilled out on the porch and it was great. Because there is so much space and two balconies, we spent several nights eating and home and enjoying the space. The pool table was amazing. All the spaces where clean, beds, couches, and outdoor furniture was really comfy. It really felt like you were in a house where people would actually live and stay

Showers on main level did not work, supplies very limited. Also, lack of communication with onsite manager was not done, in a timely manner. Let her know but response was 4 days later, and once she did reply, no regard was given.

The condo is well-equipped in a gated property near a variety of restaurants and the touristic charm of 5th Avenue. The hosts were attentive and responsive. There is no elevator; guests must climb 38 steps to reach the unit.

Was a great location, quiet and very spacious. To bad the pool table was not usable, it was a disappointment.

Was our first time in Playa del Carmen, the location and place were great. Lots of room, spacious and very quiet! Everything you need was provided. Had a great time and would stay here again in a heartbeat!
